Extra measures for account safety
If you are still having issues with your account being banned or detected even after you have followed our instructions in the article Multiple accounts: Best practices, please check the following factors as well:
- Browser core version: It is recommended to use the latest version to blend in with the majority of regular users who install browser core updates automatically
- Browser type: It is recommended to use Stealthfox for managing Google accounts. For other types of accounts, you can use both Stealthfox and Mimic
- Device usage: Starting the same profiles on different devices can lead to a hardware fingerprint mismatch (more information: Hardware settings). Furthermore, if a single profile is accessed from different computers at the same time, it can be a significant red flag
- OS usage: It is not possible to reliably replicate an OS, that is why if you, for example, use a macOS profile on Windows, websites will see it as a red flag
Profile settings for testing
After confirming that all key settings are configured correctly, try creating new profiles using the following scenarios to troubleshoot any remaining issues with your account.
We’ll divide profile settings into two groups.
Geolocation access does not play an important role, so you can choose any value for this parameter.
Group 1 settings | Group 2 settings | |
Settings to change |
|
This group includes the rest of the settings |
Scenario 1 | All settings are set to “Masked”, except for Browser languages, which should be set to “Custom”. The locale/first language should match the proxy location. | Choose the “Real” mode for all the settings. |
Scenario 2 | All settings are set to “Masked”, except for Browser languages, which should be set to “Custom”. The locale/first language should match the proxy location. |
Turn on the “Masked” mode for each setting one-by-one. For example: If “Screen resolution” set to “Masked” does not help, you can create another profile and set “Media devices” + “Screen resolution” to “Masked” and so on. |
Scenario 3 | All the settings should have the default values. |
Turn on the “Masked” mode for each setting one-by-one. For example: If “Screen resolution” set to “Masked” does not help, you can create another profile and set “Media devices” + “Screen resolution” to “Masked” and so on. |
If the issues persist after testing all the scenarios, please reach out via live chat or email us at support@multilogin.com with a detailed description of the issue, and we will investigate further.
