Before you start
Migration to Multilogin X has several requirements – make sure to read them carefully:
- ⚠️ You must have a dedicated Multilogin 6 migration build: ask support if you don't have it
- You must know your Multilogin X (if you are already registered there) and Multilogin 6 account password and be a master account holder
- Your profiles must have the latest core: launch them, to update automatically
- Your profiles must be placed in groups: we migrate groups with profiles, not individual profiles
- Your profiles must have cloud storage: at this time, local profiles can not be migrated
Migration process
Remember: you can only migrate each profile once! If you continue using profiles in Multilogin 6 after they are migrated, further changes won't be synced. This may cause data discrepancies and account restrictions.
- Create or pick a group of profiles that you'd like to migrate
- Remember the name of the group (its exact spelling) or save it in your notes
- Log out of Multilogin 6 migration build: click “My account” → “Log out”

- Click “Migrate to Multilogin X” on the welcome page
- Fill out all the fields and click “Start migration to Multilogin X”

- Keep Multilogin 6 open during migration and monitor the progress

- Once completed, you can download a report, continue to Multilogin X or migrate another group of profiles

Troubleshooting
Profiles are not migrated
Check if you've followed migration requirements: your profiles must have the latest core, cloud storage (not local), and be placed in groups.
If you have, send the following details to our support team:

Profile are not launching in Multilogin X
Make sure to complete these steps:
- Check if your system meets our requirements
- Connect the agent – it is a desktop app that runs in the background and makes it possible to launch profiles
- Click “Edit” → “Check proxy” – if the check fails, the issue is probably caused by the proxy being offline
If the issue persists, send the following details to our support team:
- An archive with application log files
- A list of IDs or names of profiles that can not be launched

- An error message that you are getting
Fingerprints are different
In Multilogin 6 and Multilogin X, it's normal for hash fingerprints (Canvas, WebGL, Fonts) to be different when masked. The hashing process is different in each system, but this should not cause account restrictions.
In Multilogin X, Canvas and WebGL are masked together (unlike Multilogin 6, where they are separate). So, if either Canvas or WebGL was masked in 6, this parameter will be masked in Multilogin X.
If you encounter issues with other parameters, send the following details to our support team:

Profile data is missing
If you notice that any of the following data is missing after migration:
- Cookies
- History
- Passwords
- Bookmarks
- Tabs
- Extensions
Please let us know the details of what is missing. Additionally, send the following details to our support team:
